Contact information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number and company, when you fill out a form or message us.

WhatsApp data, when you message a business using a Pairdom AI agent: your WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp profile name, message content (text, images, audio, documents and other message types), message IDs, timestamps, message delivery and read receipts, and the business account (phone number ID) you contacted.

Conversation data generated when you interact with a Pairdom AI agent on voice or other supported channels, including call/message content, timestamps and metadata needed to respond to and route your enquiry.

Technical information such as IP address, browser type and device information, collected automatically when you visit our website.

We process WhatsApp and conversation data strictly on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the business you are messaging (the "Business Client") — to deliver AI-generated replies, qualify leads, route conversations, schedule appointments, and hand off to a human on the Business Client's team when needed.

Legal basis: processing is carried out on the basis of the Business Client's legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, and/or the consent you gave the Business Client when you messaged them. Marketing or broadcast messages are sent only where you have opted in to receive them from the Business Client; you can opt out at any time (see Section 6).

We also use information to operate, secure and improve our own platform, to communicate with you about your enquiry with Pairdom directly (e.g. if you contact us via our website), and to comply with legal obligations.

Pairdom is a software platform that integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform as a technology provider to Business Clients. When you message a Business Client through Pairdom's WhatsApp integration, your messages are transmitted via the WhatsApp Cloud API to Meta Platforms, Inc. / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, encrypted in transit, and processed according to Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Solution Terms, and Business Data Processing Terms, in addition to this policy.

For this WhatsApp data, the Business Client is the Data Controller (they decide why and how your data is used) and Pairdom is the Data Processor, acting only on the Business Client's documented instructions and Meta's Global Data Processing Addendum. We do not use WhatsApp conversation data to train models for, or share it with, any Business Client other than the one you messaged.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with the specific Business Client you are communicating with (since they are the recipient of your enquiry), with Meta as the WhatsApp Business Platform operator, with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, database and AI-model infrastructure providers, bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms), and where required by law.

You can opt out of further messages from a Business Client on WhatsApp at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE in the conversation; we will suppress further outbound messages to your number from that Business Client on our platform.

You may request a copy (export) of the data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by emailing support@pairdom.in with enough detail to locate your records (your WhatsApp number and the Business Client you contacted), or via our Data Deletion Policy at pairdom.in/data-deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information under applicable law.

We retain WhatsApp conversation and lead data for as long as the Business Client you contacted retains it in their workspace, or until they or you request its deletion, whichever is earlier — unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, tax or accounting records). Where the GDPR applies, Pairdom acts as a Data Processor on behalf of Business Clients (Data Controllers) for WhatsApp conversation data, under Meta's Global Data Processing Addendum, and as a Data Controller for information you give us directly (e.g. this website's contact form).

As an entity operating from India, we design our data handling to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), including with respect to notice, purpose limitation, and your rights as a Data Principal.

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
